Truth is, we started this thing many years ago as a reason to drink beer and talk to people at the 2017 Edisto Billfish Tournament. We figured if we sold two shirts, and drank some cold beer, it would be a fun time. Keep the designs simple, the quality high, the shirts comfortable and have fun. We met some great people (if you are one of them thank you for changing my life more than you will ever know!) and sold out almost every night of the tournament. We repeated the same performance the next year.

Then life got in the way, as it tends to do. We forgot our own ethos, Escape Your Current, and got swept down river.

I believe that God didn't create this beautiful world just for us to sit behind tiny screens and ignore it, wishing and waiting for something to happen to us. Put the phone down and feel the salt air on your skin, the sand between your toes. Slow down, take it all in and have some fun with family and friends because that is what life is really about.

Hopefully, when you are digging through your drawer of tshirts, and come across one of ours, it reminds you of this and you go outside and touch some grass.
